These items are stored in your browser's local storage to improve your experience. They are not essential for the Service to function and can be cleared from your browser settings at any time. Language preference: - Purpose: Stores your selected display language so you do not need to select it on each visit. - Duration: No expiration (persists until manually cleared). - Data stored: A language code (for example "en" or "fr"). Redate.io uses a built-in cookie consent system to manage cookie preferences and comply with the EU ePrivacy Directive and GDPR. Redate.io uses Google Analytics 4 (GA4) via Google Tag Manager (GTM) to measure website traffic and understand how visitors interact with the site. These cookies are only set after you give explicit consent through the cookie consent banner. Google Analytics cookies: - _ga: Distinguishes unique visitors. Duration: 13 months. - _ga_[container-id]: Maintains session state. Duration: 13 months. Microsoft Clarity: Redate.io also uses Microsoft Clarity, loaded via GTM, to understand how visitors interact with pages (clicks, scrolling, navigation) through anonymised session replays and heatmaps. Clarity masks the content of form fields by default. These cookies are only set after you accept the "Analytics" category. - _clck: Stores a Clarity user identifier and preferences. Duration: 1 year. - _clsk: Connects the page views of one visit into a single recording. Duration: 1 day. - _cltk (session storage): Visit marker. Duration: until the browser tab is closed. Microsoft processes Clarity data under its own privacy statement (privacy.microsoft.com). Google Tag Manager: - GTM container ID: GTM-M975PBKH. - GTM does not set cookies itself but manages the loading of analytics and marketing scripts based on your consent. Data collected by Google Analytics includes: pages visited, time spent on pages, browser type, device type, country, and referral source. IP addresses are anonymized. Redate.io may use marketing cookies to measure the effectiveness of advertising campaigns (such as Google Ads, Microsoft Advertising and ChatGPT Ads). These cookies are only set after you give explicit consent through the cookie consent banner. Marketing cookies may include: - Google Ads conversion tracking: Measures whether a click on a Google ad led to a desired action (such as a sign-up or purchase). No personal browsing data is shared with Redate. Cookies and storage: _gcl_au (first-party, 90 days) and the local storage entry _gcl_ls, which link a conversion to the ad click; IDE (set by Google on doubleclick.net, 13 months), used by Google to measure conversions and limit ad repetition. - Google Ads remarketing: Allows Redate.io to show relevant ads to previous visitors on the Google Display Network. You can opt out of personalized ads via Google Ad Settings (adssettings.google.com). - Microsoft Advertising conversion tracking: Measures whether a click on a Microsoft ad led to a desired action, through the Microsoft UET tag loaded via GTM. Cookies and storage: _uetsid (first-party, 1 day) and _uetvid (first-party, 13 months), also mirrored in local storage (_uetsid, _uetvid, _uetsid_exp, _uetvid_exp); MUID (set by Microsoft on bing.com and clarity.ms, 13 months), MR (7 days), SRM_B (13 months), ANONCHK and SM (session), used by Microsoft to recognise the browser across its advertising services. - ChatGPT Ads (OpenAI) conversion tracking: Measures whether a click on an ad shown in ChatGPT led to a desired action (such as a sign-up or purchase). The OpenAI Ads pixel sets the cookies __oppref (click identifier, 30 days), __obref (browser identifier, 1 year) and __oaiq_consent (your consent state for this pixel, 30 days), and keeps the same consent state in local storage (oaiq_consent) and a visit marker in session storage (oaiq_cs:<pixel id>). OpenAI's servers also set technical cookies from their content delivery provider Cloudflare (__cf_bm, _cfuvid, session) to protect against automated abuse. When you enter contact details in a form on the site (for example your email address when creating an account), the pixel transforms them in your browser with a one-way hash (pseudonymised: not readable, but not anonymous) before sending them to OpenAI to match conversions with ad clicks. With your consent, Redate also keeps in local storage the identifier of each purchase already reported to this pixel (oaiq_paid_ followed by the order identifier), so that reloading the confirmation page does not report it twice; these entries are deleted when you withdraw advertising consent. For a purchase, the event sent to OpenAI contains the order identifier, the amount excluding VAT, the currency and the product name; for a sign-up, the event itself contains only the fact that an account was created (pseudonymised contact details are sent separately, as described above). The advertising link carries the click identifier (oppref) to Redate's website, and Redate consults its campaign statistics in OpenAI's Ads Manager. OpenAI Ireland Limited acts as an independent data controller for the data it receives (see the Privacy Policy, section 15). When marketing cookies are denied via the consent banner, no advertising cookies are set, no remarketing lists are built, and no conversion data is sent to Google Ads, Microsoft Advertising or OpenAI; the OpenAI Ads pixel is not even loaded. Redate.io does not sell, share, or transfer your personal data to third parties for their own advertising purposes.

The use of cookies and local storage by Redate is governed by Article 5(3) of the ePrivacy Directive (2002/58/EC) as transposed into Belgian law by the Law of 13 June 2005 on electronic communications: Essential cookies (session, CSRF, consent cookie): These cookies are exempt from consent requirements because they are strictly necessary for the provision of the Service explicitly requested by the user or for respecting cookie preferences. Consent for marketing cookies is separate from analytics consent, and each can be accepted or rejected independently. Redate.io implements Google Consent Mode v2, which ensures that Google services respect user consent choices in real time.
